1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using css-doodle.com (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

css-doodle.com is a platform for creating, sharing, and discovering visual art and creative coding projects using the css-doodle web component. The Service allows users to:

• Create and publish CSS art demos
• Browse and view demos created by other users
• Authenticate using third-party OAuth providers (GitHub, Google)
• Manage their user profile and content

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by authenticating through a supported OAuth provider (GitHub or Google). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Content

You retain copyright in the doodles you create.

Saving a doodle grants css-doodle.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host it: to store, render, thumbnail, embed, and display it as needed to operate the Service.

A public doodle is also licensed to everyone under the MIT License. Other people may copy, fork, and reuse it. Making a doodle public, or keeping it public after these Terms are updated, applies that MIT license. A private doodle is not licensed to other people; we store it and show it only to you.

Forks are new doodles. They remain if you later delete the original or make it private. Public forks are listed on the original.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish and agree not to post content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malicious code or harmful scripts
• Is offensive, abusive, or harassing

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate another user or entity
• Collect or harvest information about other users

6. Intellectual Property

The css-doodle web component is open source software under the MIT License. User doodles follow section 4; they are not part of that grant. The Service itself, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by css-doodle.com and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, css-doodle.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
