This Privacy Policy explains how css-doodle.com ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our Service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from OAuth Providers

When you sign in using GitHub or Google, we collect:

• Your username or display name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture/avatar URL
• Your unique identifier from the OAuth provider

2.2 Content You Create

We store the demos and content you create and publish on the platform, including:

• Demo titles and descriptions
• CSS code and configurations
• Publication dates and metadata

2.3 The AI in the Playground

When you send a message to the AI in the playground, we send it, along with the doodle's code, any lines you selected, recent messages in the conversation, and a small picture of the preview, to an AI model run by a third-party provider to get an answer. We do not keep your messages or the AI's answers on our servers.

When a question needs something looked up, such as whether browsers support a CSS feature yet, the AI writes a short search query and sends it to a web search service run by a third party. The query is about the question; your code and the picture are not sent with it.

For each message we record how it went: when it was sent, whether it finished, how many credits it used, how many tokens the model used, and, when it changed your code, whether you undid or saved that change. We use this to run the daily credits, to watch costs, and to learn whether the AI helps. These records are deleted with your account.

The conversation itself is kept only in your browser, so you can pick it up again later. It keeps the last 30 turns of each conversation, and the 100 conversations you used most recently. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Display your profile and published content
• Improve and optimize the Service
• Communicate with you about the Service
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Public Content: Content you make public is visible to everyone and licensed under the MIT License, as described in the Terms of Service
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
• Service Providers: With trusted third-party services that help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting providers)

The AI in the playground runs on AI models from third-party providers, which receive what you send as described in section 2.3.

We use session cookies to maintain your authentication state. These cookies are essential for the Service to function properly. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct your profile information
• Deletion: Delete your account and everything attached to it yourself, at any time, from your settings
